A totally stupid line of thinking goes here..
I was bang-ho-malibu-rum upon going to the Metallica concert in SLC on 22nd.
So, i just sit down and figure out how much it would take/cost.
The tickets are priced at $75.
Up and down travel = $ 20 ( Even if i hitched a drive with Shounak- he wud ask for sharing gas).
The necessary beers to get high prior to the concert = 8 = $6.
So, even if u look at it from the most economical point of view, it wud take a minimum 100 bucks.
And since i dun have $100 to blow away in my account right now, i kinda drop the whole idea off.
What gives me solcae is this new line o thinking. I just saved 100 bucks.
What a pity: Had i made plans to attend a Eminem concert priced at $100 in Detroit or something for which travel + lodgings+ food would take another $500, i could have saved $600 by dropping the whole idea away.
So, any of you guys wanna save some money, plan a extravaganza and then drop it.
P.S : Taking this a lil far to make it into an Ad for Mastercard:
Metallica concert = $75.
Beer and travel = $ 25
The satisfaction of having saved a 100 bucks by dropping the whole idea : Priceless.
There are some things that money can't buy. For everything else, there's MASTERCARD
How crazier can ya get, hey?
